AOC U27P2CA – If you’ve purchased a TV within the last few years, it likely has 4K resolution, allowing you to take full advantage of high-quality streaming services. Conversely, your current PC monitor may not offer this level of resolution. However, AOC’s U27P2CA monitor could sway you to upgrade as it provides 4K at a reasonable price. The 27-inch IPS panel screen boasts a maximum brightness level of 350cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, and a refresh rate of 60Hz.

Although the 4-millisecond response time is a bit sluggish for gaming, it suffices for general Windows work. These specifications result in a picture that is sharp and pleasing to the eye. While there are brighter, more vivid, and more color-accurate panels available, they are significantly pricier. Setting up the monitor is a breeze as no tools are required, and it’s ready to go within five minutes of unboxing.

The package includes HDMI and USB cables. The on-screen menu is pragmatic and practical, with four buttons on the bottom edge allowing you to control input selection, contrast, brightness, color temperature, picture-in-picture mode, and more. Overall, the settings are extremely user-friendly.

The design of this monitor is simple and unadorned, yet it includes some elegant features. The thin bezels around the top and sides of the screen are pleasing, while the base has a textured effect and the back bears a subtle logo. You can adjust the height and tilt of the screen, though it cannot be swiveled on its stand. However, the screen can be rotated 90 degrees and used in portrait mode.

The monitor also boasts an ample selection of connections, including two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, and a USB-C port that can pass power up to 65W. Additionally, there are four USB 3.0 ports, with two located on the left edge for easy access. As a result, the monitor can serve as a hub or charging station.
